Drinks replacing Red Bull with another soft drink or alcoholic beverage
  • The "Cherry Bomb" uses cherry juice instead of Red Bull
  • The "Irish Car Bomb" is probably the inspiration for every "Bomb" style drink and replaces the Red Bull with a 1/2 pint of Guiness and the Jäger with a shot that's 1 part Bailey's Irish Cream and 1 part Jameson's Irish Whiskey.

  • The "BuckBomb" (Jäger BB) involves dropping a shot of Jägermeister into half pint of "buckfast tonic wine"

  • The "Chuck Jäger" is a humorous variation in which the shot of Jägermeister is dropped into a glass of Woodchuck Hard Apple Cider. Upon consuming the beverage, the drinker is required to emphatically yell "Sonic Boom!" This is a reference to Chuck Yeager, the first person to break the sound barrier.
  • The "Crunk Bomb" replaces the Red Bull with Lil John's Crunk Juice. Popular in north central Ohio.
  • "Weedkiller" started in Bournemouth, UK. Jagermeister over ice with Dandelion and Burdock fizzy drink.

  • The "Lemon Bomb" or the "Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster", so named after the fictional cocktail from Douglas Adam's Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is a mixture of Lemon V (available in New Zealand) with Jäger. In this beverage the lemon V makes the largest part of the flavour (if mixed correctly) with the Jager forming an aftertaste and giving the drink its alcohol content.
Drinks replacing Jagermeister with another spirit
  • The "Cherrybomb" where a shot of cherry vodka is used in place of the shot of Jägermeister.
  • The "A Bomb" is a variation on the Jägerbomb using Absinthe in place of Jägermeister.
  • The "Chupacabra" uses Tequila instead of Jägermeister.
  • The "Nac Bomb" uses cognac instead of Jägermeister.
  • The "O-Bomb" uses orange-flavored vodka, typically Stolichnaya, instead of Jägermeister, and is incredibly popular in Northern New Jersey, particularly Hoboken.
  • The "Power Outage" contains Volta (vodka infused with caffeine, guarana and taurine) dropped in a Monster energy drink
  • The "Irish Trash Can" where the Jäger is replaced with a slight variant of the Long Island Iced-Tea (1 part Blue Curacao[which is basically just blue Triple Sec], 1 part Gin, 1 part light Rum, & 1 part Vodka. Leaving out the Sours Mix the Red Bull can is opened, turned over, and just stuck on top of the drink. As the Red Bull mixes with the liquor it turns everything green hence the name: "Irish Trash Can"
Drinks replacing Red Bull with another energy drink
  • When Redbull is replaced with a latte, the drink is called a Whynatte.
  • When Redbull is replaced with V Energy Drink, but the jager and process remains the same the resultant solution is named a 'Vega-bomb'
  • In Europe and Ireland a new form of Jägerbomb is being served, it is called "JägerROCK's" which is a cold shot of Jägermeister mixed with Rockstar Energy Drink. A compulsory drink of extreme sports and the motorsport drifting community at after event party celebrations.
  • The "Boitano Bomb" in which the Red Bull is replaced with Cocaine energy drink.
  • A more alcoholic variation of the Jägerbomb, sometimes known as an "Atomic Bomb", is made when the Jägermeister is dropped into a glass of "Vodka Battery" or the popular "energy drink" HI-NRG.   • The "Tiger Bomb" is a traditional Jäger Bomb with Tiger Woods Gatorade included.
  • The "Nägerbomb" is a variation in which the Red Bull is replaced with chilled coffee. the coffee can be consumed black, or with half-and-half. The Nägerbomb was inspired by the drink, the "Nägermeister", which contains 1 part Kahlúa, 1 part Jägermeister, and coffee.
Other variants
  • At some bars in Barbados, a Jägerbomb is served in a special hourglass shaped glass, with the Red Bull being poured into the bottom half, and the Jägermeister carefully poured into the top half to avoid mixing
  • "Triple Threat" is a shot which resembles a jagerbomb. A shot of Jagermeister and glass of red bull is still used, however a shot of Bacardi 151 is poured on top of the red bull and then lit on fire. Wait for the 151 to burn of for safety reasons, and then drop the Jager in. "Triple Threat" is named for the powerful combination of the Jager, Red Bull, and Bacardi 151.
  • In South Africa, Jägerbombs are also served in a cup (widely known as a Jägerbomb cup); a shorter glass in which a shot glass is placed, thus creating an inner and an outer reservoir. In the inner reservoir (i.e. the shot glass), a shot of Jägermeister is poured, while the Red Bull is poured outside, separating the two. The contents of the cup are then consumed in the same fashion as a shot. Also, several bars around the Johannesburg area employ "Jägerpigs", models who serve and promote Jägerbombs.
  • The "Reverse Jägerbomb" or sometimes called a "Suicide Bomb", "Jäger Suicide", or "Jäger Nuke" is prepared conversely; a shot of red bull is dropped into a glass of Jägermeister, and is predominantly Australian. An New Mexican version is known as a "Mikey Bomber"
  • The "Bull-Meister" where the ice cold shot of Jägermeister is placed within a half can of Red Bull to which a shot of ice cold vodka has already been added. This variation has its origins in England during the early 21st Century, and has recently spread across Europe - specifically to Austria and Canada.
  • The 'TK' (Tom Kite) Named after the legendary golfer of the late 80's and early 90's the drink is a Double Vodka- Red Bull, with a shot of Jägermeister dropped into the glass. Predominantly drunk in the Fife and Lothians region of Scotland by university golf teams. Also known as a Jäger-Turbo in Ireland
  • The "Flying Hirsch", as it is known in Austria and Switzerland, is often served using a 20ml miniature bottle of Jäger put inside a tall glass that contains a small amount of Red Bull. The Jäger pours out of the miniature bottle and mixes with the Red Bull as you drink the resulting mouthful. Care needs to be taken to ensure the miniature bottle doesn't slide out and knock into one's front teeth.
  • The "15Fun" ("One-Fifty-Fun"), a similar, but stronger drink in which Bacardi 151 and Rockstar (drink) ("Juiced" Flavor) is used instead.
  • The "Sake Bomb" uses a glass of Japanese sake and a Japanese beer. The Sake Bomb appears in a viral video (My New Haircut: Asian Edition) based on another viral video (My New Haircut), which helped popularize the Jägerbomb in 2007. This variation was a joke, but people who viewed this video accepted it as a variation.
  • The "Silvo Bomb" uses black Sambuca in a glass of Smirnoff Double Black, with added Grenadine.
  • The "Nik Bomb" started at St. Johns Music in Ottawa, Ontario Canada, and mainly consists of Bacardi 151, Jäger, Goldschläger, and Red Bull.
  • The "MotherFucker", invented at Rock Am Ring 2008, is two shots of Jagermeister, two shots of vodka and a can of redbull. Adding an extra shot of both Jagermeister and vodka upgrades it to an XL MotherFucker
